Torremolinos: the closest resort to the airport, still better in one minivan
Torremolinos is 10 km from the terminal, a 15-minute ride, and it is our shortest minivan route at €68. It is also the one where groups most often think they can manage without booking, until they stand at the taxi rank with eight people, eight cases and two pushchairs and watch the four-seaters go by. Booking the minivan means a driver in arrivals with your name, one vehicle for the whole group and the hotel in La Carihuela, Playamar or Montemar reached before the taxi queue would have moved.
Most of our Torremolinos groups are families and friends staying at the big hotels along the beach: Sol Príncipe, Meliá Costa del Sol, Amaragua, Riu, Roc Costa Park. Many book the minivan for the return as well, because an early flight home with a large family is far easier when the vehicle is waiting at the hotel door at the agreed time.

The minivans we use for Torremolinos
Mercedes Vito or V-Class, or a comparable 8-seater (Ford Tourneo Custom, Volkswagen Caravelle): all with air conditioning, individual seats and a separate luggage compartment. We never use shuttle minibuses or shared vehicles.

Minivan to Torremolinos: questions groups ask us
It is only ten kilometres. Why not take the train or the bus?
The C-1 train stops in Torremolinos and works well for two people with hand luggage. For six or eight with suitcases and pushchairs it means two changes of level at the airport, a walk from the station and a bus or taxi at the end; the minivan takes everyone door to door for €68 in 15 minutes.
Does the minivan cost the same at night?
Yes. The €68 to Torremolinos is the same at 3 a.m. as at 3 p.m., with no night supplement. The driver tracks the flight, so a late arrival or a delay changes nothing on your side.
Can the group go to two hotels in Torremolinos?
Yes, if they are close, for example two hotels in La Carihuela or in Playamar. Write both in the booking notes; the second stop adds a few minutes and no extra charge within the town.
We have a stopover in Málaga before a cruise. Can you take us to the port the next day?
Yes. Book the airport to Torremolinos minivan now, and a second transfer from your hotel to Málaga cruise port for the next day with the port as destination. Both are fixed prices paid to the driver.
Is €68 the price for the whole minivan or per person?
For the whole minivan, one way, with VAT included. With 8 people it works out at €9 each. A return trip costs twice the single fare and can be booked in the same form.
