Estepona by minivan: the old town, the beach resorts and the New Golden Mile
Estepona is a long way for eight people in two taxis. At 84 km from the airport the second car doubles the bill, and the group arrives in two halves at a resort where check-in is easier done together. The minivan takes the whole party, with the pushchairs, the golf bags and the suitcases, to the Ikos, the Kempinski, the Elba, a villa in Selwo or an apartment behind the old town's flower-lined streets for €149, in roughly 60 minutes.
Estepona's groups are mostly families: the all-inclusive resorts on the New Golden Mile between Marbella and the town are built for them, and the beach promenade and the marina keep everyone busy without a car. Many arrive on the same morning flight from the UK or Ireland with six to eight people and twice as many bags; that is exactly what the minivan is for.

The minivans we use for Estepona
Mercedes Vito or V-Class, or a comparable 8-seater (Ford Tourneo Custom, Volkswagen Caravelle): all with air conditioning, individual seats and a separate luggage compartment. We never use shuttle minibuses or shared vehicles.

Minivan to Estepona: questions groups ask us
Our resort is before Estepona, on the New Golden Mile. Is it the same price?
Yes. Ikos Andalusia, Kempinski Bahía, Elba and the other resorts between Cancelada and the town are covered by the Estepona fare of €149. If your address is further west, towards Casares or Sabinillas, we quote that route instead.
How long does the minivan take from Málaga Airport to Estepona?
About 60 minutes on the AP-7 toll road, a little more on the free A-7. The toll, if you choose the motorway, is paid separately to the driver; most of our Estepona groups take it in summer. Flight tracking means the driver is in arrivals whenever you land.
Eight of us with eight large suitcases: will it all fit?
Eight medium suitcases fit comfortably; eight large ones are tight. Tell us in the booking notes what you carry and, if needed, we send a minivan with a roof box or a second vehicle at the right price. We would rather know before you land.
Can we book the return from Estepona to the airport at the same time?
Yes, choose Return in the form and the price doubles to cover both journeys. For the way back the driver picks you up at your resort reception; for early flights we suggest leaving Estepona about two and a half hours before departure.
Is €149 the price for the whole minivan or per person?
For the whole minivan, one way, with VAT included. With 8 people it works out at €19 each. A return trip costs twice the single fare and can be booked in the same form.
We are 9 or 10 people. What do you suggest?
Two vehicles: a minivan plus a sedan, or two minivans, both booked for the same flight and both waiting in arrivals. Write the total number of people in the booking notes and we confirm the combination and the price by email.
