Puerto Banús for groups: the marina, the beach clubs and the hotels around them
Puerto Banús is where we drive the most groups of friends. Six or eight people arriving on the same flight for a long weekend, with apartments in the port itself, in Nueva Andalucía or at the big hotels on the beach, and nobody wants to arrive in two separate taxis at two different times. The minivan carries everyone and all the bags for €128, and the driver drops you at the hotel entrance or at the closest point to your apartment that the port's traffic rules allow.
From Terminal 3 the route runs 65 km along the AP-7 or the A-7, about 50 minutes depending on the hour. In July and August, and on nights with events at the port, the last stretch along the Avenida Julio Iglesias is slow; our drivers know the back ways through Nueva Andalucía and will tell you if the toll road is worth it that day.

With five or more people a standard taxi does not work: you would need two cars, two bookings and two drivers who may not arrive together. The minivan solves it in one vehicle.

The minivans we use for Puerto Banús
Mercedes Vito or V-Class, or a comparable 8-seater (Ford Tourneo Custom, Volkswagen Caravelle): all with air conditioning, individual seats and a separate luggage compartment. We never use shuttle minibuses or shared vehicles.

The €128 fare is for the vehicle, not per passenger. The more of you there are, the cheaper each seat gets:

Minivan to Puerto Banús: questions groups ask us
Can the minivan drive into Puerto Banús marina?
No vehicles are allowed inside the port itself, so the driver takes you to the nearest access on the ring road or on the Avenida Julio Iglesias side. From there most apartments are a two-minute walk. For the hotels on the beach the driver goes directly to the entrance.
We land late at night for a stag weekend. Is the minivan available?
Yes, 24 hours a day at the same €128. The driver tracks the flight, waits in the arrivals hall with the name on the booking and you pay on arrival. Tell us the hotel or apartment address when you book so the driver plans the drop-off in the port.
Is Puerto Banús more expensive than Marbella for the minivan?
Slightly: €128 against €113, because the port is about eight kilometres further west than Marbella centre. If your address is in Nueva Andalucía or at the Hard Rock, the Puerto Banús fare applies too.
Can we stop at a supermarket on the way to our apartment?
A short stop at a supermarket near your address is no problem if you ask for it in the booking notes; there are several in Nueva Andalucía and by the port. Longer detours are quoted separately.
Is €128 the price for the whole minivan or per person?
For the whole minivan, one way, with VAT included. With 8 people it works out at €16 each. A return trip costs twice the single fare and can be booked in the same form.
We are 9 or 10 people. What do you suggest?
Two vehicles: a minivan plus a sedan, or two minivans, both booked for the same flight and both waiting in arrivals. Write the total number of people in the booking notes and we confirm the combination and the price by email.
